Another 800 tonne Liebherr crane for AG Transport

A second 800 tonne capacity Liebherr crawler crane will join the fleet of AG Transport in the Czech Republic.

The wind energy industry lifting specialist ordered the LR 1800-1.0 crawler crane during the Bauma 2025 trade show. It will have the new X3A boom system.

Commenting on his latest fleet addition Tomáš Kepič, AG Transport managing director, said, “We see enormous potential in the wind industry in the coming years and want to grow together with our customers. This investment strengthens our operational capability and emphasises our claim to be a reliable partner for complex lifting projects.”

Specialist wind work

AG Transport plans to use the new crane to erect wind turbines throughout Europe. It already built a market presence in central Europe with its first LR 1800-1.0.

Our latest investment is a further step in our long-term collaboration,” Kepič continued. AG Transport’s fleet includes 18 Liebherr wheeled mobile and two crawler, in capacities from 40 to 800 tonnes.
