Thinh Nguyen takes on chief technology officer role at Fleet Cost & Care

Thinh Nguyen will play a key role in advancing FCC’s technology to support operations managers, dispatchers, accounting professionals and business owners.

Fleet Cost & Care (FCC), a leading fleet management software provider for the crane, rigging and specialized equipment industries in the USA, has appointed Thinh Nguyen as chief technology officer. Nguyen will lead FCC’s technology strategy and oversee product engineering, cybersecurity, IT operations, and data strategy, focusing on delivering scalable, modern solutions that help equipment rental companies operate more efficiently and with greater visibility.

Nguyen’s appointment supports FCC’s ongoing commitment to helping equipment operations evolve through smarter software and leveraging artificial intelligence for automation. As companies seek to modernize and better connect their field and back-office operations, Nguyen will advance FCC’s technology to support operations managers, dispatchers, accounting professionals, and business owners.

“Thinh brings a strong mix of technical expertise and real-world experience,” said Jeff Curran, president of Fleet Cost & Care. “He understands what it takes to modernize systems and build tools that actually make a difference for the people using them.”

Nguyen has more than 25 years of experience in enterprise software and digital product development. He has held technology leadership roles at organizations that include Open Lending, Flagstar Bank, and Mr. Cooper, where he helped drive platform modernization, cloud adoption and user experience improvements. His expertise spans cloud architecture, omni-channel engagement, and data-driven software delivery.

Nguyen holds a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University and a bachelor’s degree in information systems from the University of Texas at Arlington.
