Only a few seats are left for the 2015 International Tower Cranes conference in London on 28 May. More than 220 places have been booked for the ITC conference at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel in London's Kensington.

ITC 2015 starts with an evening reception on 27 May and then a full day conference and networking event on the 28th.

The conference includes two round-table panels: one on tower crane foundation loads – and with presentations on new FEM and CIRIA guidelines – and a second on operator access for tower cranes.

Philippe Cohet, Arcomet chairman, will use his keynote speech at ITC 2015 to investigate the value created in the tower crane market supply chain, and ask if the rewards fully reflect the technical complexity involved and the important part that tower cranes play on many projects.

Dave Holder, director and general manager of HTC Plant, will consider how the industry can attract young talent, and Jean-Charles Delplace, business development manager at Trimble Navigation, will look at the management of cranes on ‘connected’ sites.

Association supporters of the event are the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA) and the Construction Plant-hire Association (CPA).

The event’s Gold sponsors are Liebherr, Terex, Wolffkran and Zoomlion. Silver sponsors are Geda, Hookcam Europe/Compact Lifting Group, Jaso/Falcon, Manitowoc and Radius NFT. Supporting sponsors are HoistCam, Jost, Load Systems International (A Trimble company), MTI-Lux, Morrow, Rayco-Wylie Systems, SMIE and TSL (Tech Safety Lines).

ITC was most recently held in Berlin, Germany, in November 2013, where it attracted almost 150 delegates from 23 countries worldwide.
