Shorter Intermat to return in 2024

Premium Content

The Intermat exhibition will be held in Paris, France, from April 24-27, 2024 at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition centre.

The event, which organisers said will be focused on low carbon and sustainability, will be held over four days rather than the previous six.

The last Intermat was held in 2018. The show was scheduled to be held in 2021 but was cancelled because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The show will focus on issues such as reducing the carbon footprint of building projects, migrating to zero-carbon energy sources, or low-carbon powertrains, equipment, materials and services. The event says it will offer a stage to the latest developments and concrete solutions on the construction market in the aim of building an ambitious net zero trajectory.

There will be five dedicated sectors in the show: Earthmoving demolition and transportation; Lifting and handling; Roads, minerals and foundations; buildings and concrete sector; new technologies and energies.

The show’s organisers say that more information on the exhibition’s new brand identity and content will be revealed in the coming weeks.
