Offshore crane order for Huisman

Dutch crane and engineering specialist Huisman has been awarded a contract by shipbuilder Vard to deliver a fully electric 250 tonne hybrid boom subsea crane, and a 100 tonne knuckle boom crane, for the Toyo Construction’s cable lay vessel.

Japanese company Toyo Construction specialises in offshore work and will use this new vessel for work in the offshore wind industry.
