Michael Saranovich has been named purchasing and safety manager for crane repair specialist Wheco Corporation. In his purchasing capacity, Saranovich will review and establish purchasing policies and procedures to make bulk purchases and establish vendor relationships that will result in cost savings. He will oversee purchasing for all four Wheco facilities. On the safety side, Saranovich will work to update and establish new safety policies and handle regulatory compliance, correspondence and activities with OSHA, Cal-OSHA and other necessary agencies. “I am looking forward to helping Wheco become more efficient and extend its purchasing power company wide,” said Saranovich. “The company has always been very safety oriented and we hope to build on this tradition.” Also at Wheco, Mark Newman has been appointed general manager of the Los Angeles division. “I am excited about joining the Wheco team and the challenge of meeting the needs of customers and building on the level of excellence the company has established since we started servicing the southern California market,” said Newman. “I am impressed with the expertise that Wheco offers its clients and I look forward to forging stronger relationships in this market.”
