Rental company Eisele used a 250 ton capacity lattice boom crawler working at a radius of more than 250 feet in the construction of a new Lufthansa Airlines maintenance hangar at Frankfurt International Airport in Germany. The Liebherr LR 1200 crawler lifted roof elements weighing 1.82 tons, including curved beams and trusses, at radii up to 253 feet. To prevent interference with airport radar equipment, the crane was not allowed to exceed a height of 174 feet.
