Contractor MasTec is using a National ENVI boom truck to install 5 ton concrete power line poles along 15 miles of roadway in the city of Terrell, near Dallas, TX. National Crane's ENVI (690EU) is the first environmentally-friendly boom truck and is the only boom truck in the industry that runs on biodegradable diesel and uses vegetable-based oil in its hydraulic system.
