Adekma adds Tadano AC 7.450-1 crane to its fleet

French heavy lifting specialist Adekma has brought a new Tadano AC 7.450-1 all terrain crane onto its fleet.

The seven-axle model, which lifts 450 tonnes, will allow the company to support larger-scale and technically demanding projects.

The AC 7.450-1 was ordered with virtually all optional extras, including a luffing jib, self-rigging Sideways Superlift (SSL) system and the Surround View camera system.

“For us, this investment is about reinforcing our ability to support customers on major projects,” explained Frédéric Blais, founder and managing director at Adekma. “The AC 7.450-1 combines compact dimensions with strong lifting performance, which is particularly important for the demanding operations handled by our AdekMax division.”

The new crane will primarily be deployed for wind turbine maintenance, industrial installations and maintenance projects. Also, it can be used for dismantling tower cranes.

Adekma operates 11 locations across western France, operating a fleet of about 100 cranes. The company also manages lifting, handling and transport equipment. The AdekMax division offers lifting solutions for industrial, infrastructure and energy projects.
