AKM takes delivery of new Tadano mobile crane
02 February 2026
AKM Autokranvermietung, which has its headquarters in Munich, Germany, has added another Tadano crane to its fleet.
The company has purchased a Tadano AC 7.450-1, a six-axle mobile crane said to have the power of an eight-axle model.

“We were delighted by the AKM team’s visit here [at Tadano headquarters] in Zweibrücken and, of course, pleased that our long-standing customer has once again chosen a large crane from our company,” said sales manager Hans Asam, who handed over the AC 7.450-1.
The crane delivered to AKM has optional features which include a luffing jib and SSL (Sideways Superlift); plus the crane is able to self-rig the SSL. The features will improve versatility, as will the IC-1 crane control system and the Surround View camera system, which is especially helpful on tight construction sites.
“All things considered, the AC 7.450-1 is definitely a valuable addition to our fleet and sets a new technical standard in its class,” said AKM’s managing director, Sven Bauer, who was joined by several of his operators and fitters at the handover.
AKM offers customers a range of services, including crane and forklift rental, heavy transport industrial assembly and operational planning.
