The ALL Family of Companies bought a LTM 1500-8.1 and a LTM 1300-6.2 to serve customers in the South.

The ALL Family of Companies bought two new Liebherr all terrain cranes to serve customers in the South. The new machines include a 600-ton Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 and a 350-ton LTM 1300-6.2. ALL already owns two of these LTM 1500-8.1 ATs, which have been regularly serving jobsites in Canada and the northern part of the U.S.

The LTM 1500-8.1 is well-suited for work at industrial job sites, such as setting large transformers in power plants, lifting tower cans for wind farms or setting steel in refineries. It will be equipped with both long (276 feet) and short (164 feet) boom systems, allowing optimization of crane transportation logistics while still providing desired capacity and reach.

“In some cases, only transporting the short boom will save the customer time and money,” said J. Hutton Strader, business development specialist for ALL. “And with the boom systems interchangeable between machines, that gives an added bonus in terms of flexibility.”

The new LTM 1300-6.2 will be based in Atlanta.

“Adding these ATs to serve our southern customers is a great investment,” said Michael Liptak, president, ALL. “These machines are expertly designed, and offer strength and mobility that is key at power plants and other industrial sites. We are pleased to continue to offer the best machines available to our customers.”
