An all terrain hydraulic Grove and a 365 US ton capacity Liebherr have joined the All Carolina Crane & Equipment family. Part of the All Erection & Crane Rental Corp., All Carolina added the all terrain GMK7550 (GMK7450 outside the US) from Grove, as well as the Liebherr LTM 1300-6.1.

The GMK7550, with a 550 US ton-rated capacity, is Grove's largest all terrain hydrualic crane. It sits on seven axles and has a five section, full power, 197 foot boom that provides a maximum tip height of 207 feet. The boom's pinning system has 32 extension configurations, along with an optional 240 foot lattice luffing jib that converts to a fixed offset lattice jib with lengths up to 230 feet, offsettable at 3 degrees and 25 degrees, allowing up to 430 feet of overall tip height.

Liebherr's LTM 1300-6.1 is a 365 US ton capacity, six axle all terrain. It has a 197 foot telescopic boom, a 69 foot double-folding jib and a fixed or luffing lattice fly jib at up to 230 feet.

"The purchase of these mammoth cranes demonstrates the All committment to continuous upgrading of our fleets to better serve our market areas," said Craig Hunt, general manager of All Carolina. "The GMK7550 gives us tremendous mobility for both on- and off-road construction and industrial applications, including bridges and highways, power and nuclear plants and refineries. The 7550 is the workhorse for erecting and disassembling tower cranes."
