Premium Content

20 March 2008

The vast Bauma exhibition held in Munich, Germany in late April attracted some half a million visitors, making it the biggest Bauma ever.

International visitor levels also grew with numbers increasing 35% to 160,000 for non-German attendees. Visitors from around 190 countries were registered - another new record for the show.

A total of 3,041 exhibitors (2004: 2,805) were at the show, 7% more than in 2004. There were 1,390 German exhibitors (2004: 1,363) and 1,651 (2004: 1,442) exhibitors from abroad.

Germany, Italy and the UK were the three strongest contingents at the show. The next Bauma will take place from April 19 to 25, 2010.
