Bigge has expanded its fleet with a major investment in Liebherr cranes to meet growing demand for heavy lifting across North America.

Bigge Crane and Rigging Co. has expanded its fleet with the addition of multiple Liebherr crawler and mobile cranes. The company, which already operates nearly 200 Liebherr cranes, has added several new models to support infrastructure, industrial, and heavy-lift projects across North America.
The latest acquisitions include: 14 Liebherr LR 1300.1 SX crawler cranes, 8 Liebherr LTR 1220 telecrawlers, 4 Liebherr LR 1500 crawler cranes, 2 Liebherr LR 1700 crawler cranes and 1 Liebherr LTM 1230 all terrain crane.
According to Joe Nelms, chief revenue officer at Bigge, the investment in Liebherr cranes aligns with the company’s strategy to provide high-performance lifting solutions. The expansion comes as the construction industry anticipates increased demand for heavy-lifting equipment.
Bigge Crane and Rigging, founded over a century ago, specializes in crane rental and sales. With a fleet of crawler, tower, and mobile cranes, the company serves a range of industries, including infrastructure, energy and commercial construction.
