Böcker trailer crane for Stirob

25 March 2021

Bavaria, Germany-based crane rental firm Stirob Baustelleneinrichtung (Stirob) has added an AHK 30 KS trailer crane, made by German crane manufacturer Böcker, to its rental fleet.

The crane has an extension length of up to 30 metres and a payload up to 1.5 tonnes. At full extension, the crane can lift 0.25 tonnes.

The crane is operated by remote control with a colour display. It comes with a crane control system as standard. The crane control system automatically determines the working range depending on the position of the outriggers and the load. The crane’s turning and lifting angle can also be restricted for extra safety when using the crane near potential hazards, such as powerlines.

The four foldable swivelling outriggers have individual variable extension capabilities and can be set up at various angles, providing a ground clearance of up to 50 cm. They also provide the trailer crane with an auto-levelling function.

The AHK 30 KS can be specified with a remote maintenance module designed to reduce downtime. This means any crane error messages can be viewed and resolved by Böcker’s service department regardless of the crane’s location.

The AHK 30 KS is equipped with a swivel drawbar as standard. Böcker said this significantly reduces the overall length of the crane when swivelled in.

The chassis has a tandem axle ensures designed to enhance floor-load distribution.

Stirob owner and managing director Robert Stic said, “We equip our customers’ construction sites exclusively with the best machines available on the market. Due to many years of experience, we know how powerful Böcker products are and we are pleased to offer a reliable and flexible support for construction sites. The delivery of the new Böcker AHK 30 KS is particularly timely due to the growing demand in the field of construction site equipment.”
