CEI Crane & Rigging celebrates six decades of service
24 June 2025

CEI Crane & Rigging marked its 60th anniversary with the grand opening of a new 193,000-square-foot headquarters in Massillon, OH, on June 20. The family-owned company, originally founded in 1964 as Canton Erectors Inc., has grown from a single 15-ton crane into a global provider of crane and rigging services, heavy hauling, turnkey factory relocations and more.
Led by President Brian Selinsky since 2001, CEI continues to uphold its founding values of hard work, safety and community service. “Celebrating 60 years is important to us,” Selinsky said. “Our ability to continue to grow and expand has been due to the dedication of our entire team. We wanted to take the time to recognize the results of our collective efforts.”
The new facility sits on 20 acres and includes two heated indoor storage buildings, with an expanded fleet that now includes heavy haul trucks from the 2023 acquisition of Starrett Service.
“We say whatever the job, we can handle it,” said Selinsky. “Either we have the crane onsite or we can get it.” Beyond industrial work, CEI remains committed to its community, having donated crane services to help build more than 200 Habitat for Humanity homes. “While our reach is now global, our roots are here in the Stark County area and always will be,” Selinsky added.
