Chellino Crane lifts 200,000 pound press

Movement of large and oversize objects can be a challenge. M-L Holdings Crane Group company Chellino Crane and the Alternative Movement Division (AMD) just helped a customer in Illinois with such a challenge.

Using a 500-ton slide system, they were able to carefully slide the 200,000 pound press out of the building. The press was then loaded onto a modular transport trailer (with a Grove GMK 6400 450-ton hydraulic crane) and taken off-site. The new press was then slid back into position, allowing the customer to resume production with minimal downtime.
