Chinese introduction

XCMG will be a new name to many ACT readers, so you may be surprised to know that with sales of nearly $ 500 million last year, it is China's biggest construction equipment manufacturer. The company has a range of about 20 hydraulic truck cranes, among many other products, and pictured right is its latest and biggest model, the 71.5 ton (65 metric tonne) capacity QY65K. The machine was launched at last November's Bauma China exhibition in Shanghai, China, but is pictured here on the company's stand at this year's ConExpo.
