C.M. Pancho buys first Kobelco CKS900 in the Philippines

Philippines-based construction giant C.M. Pancho Construction has taken delivery of the first Kobelco CKS900 crawler crane into the country.

Delivered in June, the 90 tonne capacity crawler was put straight on to a job site for work in Pampanga for the construction of the last stretch of Tarlac – Pampanga – La Union Expressway (TPLEX).

The latest CKS crawler crane series comes with the patented G-mode (green mode). Kobelco said this mode reduces overall fuel consumption by approximately 25 percent compared to conventional models. Engine exhaust gas emission level and noise pollution are also said to be substantially reduced.

Gerardo Pancho, president at C.M. Pancho said the crane’s functions are easy to perform due to its “user-friendliness” and that he specifically appreciated the safety features on the crane.

The CKS900 was sold to C.M. Pancho and commissioned by Kobelco crane dealer, JVF Commercial and Project Development Support Services.
