Kitchen’s Crane adds SPMT, gantry to fleet

Richmond, Virginia, USA-based Kitchen’s Crane & Equipment expanded its heavy lift rental and sales fleet with several acquisitions made during the second and third quarters of 2026.

New additions include a 2020 Scheuerle MPEK 170.8.2 SPMT PowerHoss self-propelled modular transporter (SPMT) and a 2024 Enerpac SBL400 hydraulic gantry system with side shift. Kitchen’s also purchased a new Toyota FR25-35 forklift with fork and boom attachments.
The company said the purchase comes amid growing demand for specialized lifting and transport equipment across infrastructure, power generation, data centre, manufacturing and industrial projects.
