05 February 2024

Companies and individuals in the business of lifting and-or the specialized transport industry are invited to submit proposals to speak at the 2024 Cranes and Transport middle East (CATME) conference. It will be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on 1 and 2 October.
Organised by KHL Group and International Cranes and Specialized Transport magazine, the conference will look at trends in safety, technology and fleet management, changes to legislation, major projects and the business as a whole.
The organiser is now seeking suggestions for speakers and topics. Proposed topics should be of interest to equipment owners and users, including rental companies and contractors. The sessions should provide detailed information that will help companies become safer, more efficient and profitable.
Key topics

- Improving health and safety in lifting and transport operations
- Increasing the efficiency of the equipment fleet and management practices
- Enhancing the productivity of equipment on site
- Highlighting best practice advice and case studies from around the world.
The most recent CATME, held in March 2022, included the following speakers: Paul van Gelder, Mammoet; Philippe Verdeure, Sarens; Hadi Al Sagour, Saudi Aramco, and Peter Hird, The Crosby Group.
SC&RA is the exclusive event partner for CATME and the event is supported by the UAE Contractors’ Association.
