Davis Crane Group, a crane service company headquartered in Texas, United States, with more than 60 years of operation, has taken delivery of its first Tadano AC 7.450-1 all terrain crane, a 500 tonne, seven axle machine that will be based at the company’s Goins Crane Service division in Abilene.

The AC 7.450-1 has a 80.1 metre main boom and a total carrier length of 17 metres, with a maximum outrigger base of 8.5 metres. The crane has Tadano’s IC-1 control system, Sideways Superlift, and Surround View camera system.

The crane’s first assignment will be a data centre project in West Texas. Davis Crane Group said the machine is also suited to wind turbine installation, bridge construction, and other infrastructure work.
