Dornseiff adds another Tadano City crane
01 October 2025

German crane and transport company Dornseiff Autokrane und Schwertransporte has expanded its fleet with another Tadano AC 3.045-1 City. The new crane replaces an older AC 40 City, which Tadano accepted as a trade-in.
The latest unit joins three other AC 3.045-1 City cranes already in Dornseiff’s lineup. To keep operations simple and flexible, the company ordered it with the same configuration as the existing machines, including a three-sheave runner, 15-tonne boom head traverse, 25-tonne hook traverse, and a 32-tonne hook block.
According to site manager Anja Reger, the crane will mainly be used for indoor projects such as installing overhead cranes and moving machinery. “Its compact design makes it ideal for work inside buildings where larger all terrain cranes can’t operate,” she said.
The handover took place at Tadano’s Lauf site, with Sales Manager Helge Prüfer presenting the crane to Reger and operator Marco Wöltering.
