Engineered Rigging takes delivery of Officine LG202 gantry crane

08 October 2026

Engineered Rigging has added an Officine CLP LG202 hydraulic gantry crane to its rental and sales fleet.

Officine CLP CEO Luca Giordano was in attendance when the new gantry crane arrived at the Engineered Rigging depot and fabrication facility in Russelville, Arkansas.

“Luca could have shipped this gantry and sent an invoice. Instead, he got on a plane,” said Christopher Cox, president of Engineered Rigging.

“His trip reflects not only his pride in CLP’s engineering and craftsmanship but also the importance of relationships. This is a true partnership where CLP’s values and high standards mirror Engineered Rigging’s.”

The LG202 has a 220-ton (220 metric tonne) load capacity on four legs. Maximum lift height is 24 ft 6in (7.48 m).

Two-stage cylinders retain full capacity through both lift stages. These are located internally to eliminate external hoses.

Each gantry leg weighs 6,945 lb (3,150 kg) and the base measures 38.2 x 70.9 in (0.92 x 1.80 m). Fully retracted, the gantry has a height of 10 ft (3.05 m), which allows it to work in lower overhead clearance situations.

A self-contained power pack in each leg supports rapid deployment. Automated controls keep the four legs moving in unison during lifting, lowering and horizontal travel.

The LG202 uses hydraulics from Bosch Rexroth and electrical systems from Siemens, meaning that non-proprietary components can be sourced through established channels.

This is the second CLP gantry to be installed across the United States since the company entered the market in August this year.

The first LG132 gantry was bought by a specialised rigging company in Texas.
