More member companies sponsored events at SC&RA meetings during 2006 than ever before, enabling SC&RA to provide optimal speakers and venues.

•Among the more than 300 attendees at 12 sessions during the Specialized Transportation Symposium, March 9-11, St.Louis, were SC&RA members; state, regional and federal transportation officials; and vendors at 15 exhibit center booths.

•More than 120 people journeyed to Los Cabos, Mexico, January 4-7, for Board & Committee meetings to review progress from 2005 and plan for 2006.

•There were more than 540 registrations for the Annual Conference, SC&RA's flagship event, April 25-29, Hilton Head Island, SC. Highlights included educational sessions by six acclaimed speakers; over two dozen committee meetings; a products fair with 54 exhibitors; annual awards and recognition Dinner; the Pandora's Box Dinner/Dance; and golf, tennis and fun run events.

•The Crane & Rigging Workshop, September 21-23, Atlanta, GA., attracted more than 375 registrants and featured 12 educational sessions and an exhibit center featuring 44 booths.

•This year's Financial Management Seminar, La Jolla, CA, was the most comprehensive ever offered by SC&RA and featured eight presentations of special interest to several dozen business owners, top managers and controllers.
