China-based tower crane manufacturer Comansa CM has launched the CM1600 series of four brand new models and two more to come in the following months.

The four new tower cranes from Comansa CM, part of the Linden Comansa group, were built in the Hangzhou factory and include the 10 tonne capacity 16CM185 and 16CM220, and the 12 tonne capacity 16CM185 and 16CM220, all with a maximum jib length of 65 metres. The cranes 16CM260 (10 tonnes) and 16CM260 (12 tonnes) will be launched soon and will come with jib length of 70 m.

All the cranes from the CM1600 series have a flat top design, frequency controlled mechanisms, different options of hoist speeds and the PowerLift system, the company said.

The new series allows Comansa CM to fill the gap between the CM1100 series (with maximum loads of 6 and 8 tonnes) and the CM2100 series (up to 25 tonnes of maximum load capacity).

Andy Huang, sales manager at Comansa CM, said, “Comansas CM's range is now even more complete and allows us to be part of all types of projects, from small residential to large scale industrial and infrastructures.”
