Indonesia dealer appointed for Terex RT cranes

PT Sanggar Sarana Baja (SSB) has been appointed as the distributor for Terex rough terrain cranes in Indonesia.

Jakarta-based SSB will offer sales and aftermarket support for the full range of Terex RTs across the region. SSB is an engineering company experienced in heavy lifting and the equipment used to carry it out.

Terex rough terrain cranes from the 35 tonne capacity TRT 35 to the 100 tonne TRT 100 will be offered. Adding Terex RTs to the SSB product portfolio “enhances SSB’s lifting solution services with products manufactured with engineering know-how, technical precision, and a strong commitment to quality,” the manufacturer said.

Commenting on the distributorship appointment Johan Budisusetija, SSB director, said, “We are delighted to be offering Terex rough terrain cranes for the Indonesian market. Not only will we deliver their high-quality lifting solutions tailored to industry needs but we will provide comprehensive after-sales service and technical support to optimally support our customers’ operations. This collaboration will enable SSB to offer world-class cranes focused on efficiency and productivity, equipped with safety systems that meet international standards.”

Meeting complex needs

For his part Ajit Nair, Terex rough terrain cranes head of sales for the Middle East and Asia, said, “We are pleased to have SSB as our distributor in Indonesia and are delighted to welcome them our growing global distribution network. Terex rough terrain cranes, coupled with the outstanding capabilities of SSB, will deliver reliable lifting solutions with strong support systems to meet the increasingly complex needs of customers across Indonesia.”

SSB also offers support services, including operator training, spare parts and technical assistance. Indonesia’s government is pushing to improve safety in the heavy equipment sector. SSB said it is working to support this and received a Zero Incident Award recognising the achievement of more than two million safe man-hours in2024.
