Kuwait-based equipment rental and logistics service provider Jassim Transport & Stevedoring in Kuwait has enhanced its fleet with a 650 tonne capacity Demag CC 3800-1 lattice boom crawler crane from Terex Cranes.

Commenting on his purchase Adel Kohari, JTC chief executive officer, said, “The CC 3800-1 enhances JTC’s lifting capabilities over our Demag CC 2200, and this will put us in a position to meet the needs of our customers in the oil and gas industries even better in the future.” Work began for the CC 3800-1 immediately after delivery. It was used to lift a heat exchanger as part of a large-scale oil and gas project, Terex said.

JTC operates in Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. Its divisions include ports management, contract logistics, equipment leasing, and power rental.
