Liebherr Cranes, Inc. announces change in management

After 11 years managing the business at Liebherr Cranes, Inc. (LCI), Mr. Georg Diesch has been promoted to Managing Director at Liebherr Hydraulikbagger GmbH in Kirchdorf, Germany, the factory manufacturing Liebherr mobile excavators and material handling equipment.
Effective January 01, 2015, Mr. Daniel Pitzer was appointed President of LCI, in charge of the U.S. business for all types of Liebherr all terrain and larger crawler cranes. For the last 9 years he worked at the mobile crane factory in Ehingen/Germany, managing sales in several English speaking countries. During his international business studies he lived in the U.S. where he finished his MBA degree before returning to Germany.
“I’m looking forward to taking over this new role and working with my team to further strengthen our relationship with our customers in the U.S.,” said Pitzer.
“I congratulate Daniel on his promotion and I’m very pleased that a very motivated and knowledgeable professional takes over to continue Liebherr’s success in the U.S.,” added Diesch.
