Link-Belt promotes Michael Dawson to product manager

Link-Belt Cranes has announced the promotion of Michael Dawson to product manager of crawler cranes, effective March 1, 2025.

Dawson’s journey with Link-Belt began in 2015 when he joined the company as a technical service instructor within the Training Department. His role evolved in 2022 when he transitioned to marketing specialist for crawler cranes, where he played a key role in supporting the company’s distributor network and product development initiatives.

Before joining Link-Belt, Dawson gained extensive field experience working with a Link-Belt distributor in South America, where he held several key positions. His mechanical engineering degree from Universidade Paulista and fluency in Portuguese have strengthened his ability to support customers across international markets.

“Michael brings a wealth of technical knowledge, service expertise, and a deep understanding of our distributor network to this position,” said Pat Collins, director of product marketing, Link-Belt Cranes. “His diverse experience will be instrumental in driving the growth and development of our crawler crane product line.”

In his new role, Dawson will oversee product strategy, development and support for Link-Belt’s crawler crane lineup, working closely with engineering, sales and customer service teams to enhance the company’s offerings in the market.
