Employees of Link-Belt Cranes recently teamed up with the Lexington Chapter of Habitat for Humanity to provide over 1,240 working hours for two separate build projects. In total, 154 Link-Belt employees were involved with two home projects: one on Price Road, the other on Charles Avenue; both located in Lexington, Kentucky.

As a Habitat for Humanity sponsor, Link-Belt provided building materials and volunteers for both locations.

“We are happy to be able to give back to the community but also, this gives our employees the opportunity to take some ownership in the process,” said Mark Kreyenbuhl, director, human resources at Link-Belt.

“Multiple departments from Link-Belt came together for each build day. The teambuilding that takes place is great for framing or painting a room, and it helps with our employees getting to know their co-workers better.”
