Manitex has introduced a new set of outriggers for its 17 and 19-ton boom trucks.

Manitex recently introduced an out and down outrigger option for its CM170 and CM190 series boom trucks. The new outrigger options were shown at the Railway Interchange show in Minneapolis last fall.

With a maximum lift capacity of 19-tons and installed on a commercially available chassis equipped with Hi-rail gear, the new outrigger option is ideally suited for various railroad construction and maintenance applications, according to Randy Robertson, director of sales and marketing

"The unveiling was well received by both Class One railroads, and contractors alike because of the flexibility in the 3-position outrigger spreads," Robertson said.
