Manitex expands boom truck dealer network

Manitex International, a leading international provider of cranes and specialized industrial equipment, has grown its boom truck distribution network with the the addition of ABM Equipment, LLC

Effective immediately, ABM Equipment headquartered in Hopkins, MN will represent Manitex as a full-service dealer for boom trucks and truck mounted cranes in Minnesota, North and South Dakotas, Nebraska, Iowa and the upper Peninsula of Michigan.

“Since our founding in 1980 ABM has served the upper Midwest with the best names in the business,” said Ron Zimmer, president, ABM Equipment. “This partnership with Manitex ensures we will continue doing so and broadens our ability to provide customized solutions for our customers as well as open doors to new ones. We are excited to work with the Manitex organization and build a great future together.”

ABM joins the Manitex network of equipment dealers supporting Manitex products throughout North America and abroad and has placed initial stocking orders for retail distribution commensurate with this announcement.

Dave McDaniel-Manitex Midwest Region business manager added, “ABM Equipment is a perfect fit to represent Manitex in local retail sales and rental markets with medium to heavy spec boom trucks and truck mounted cranes. They have the experience to tailor equipment to suit customer’s needs.
