18 April 2008

Early last month Manitex's new 4596T rolled out of the company's Georgetown, TX facility and headed for Calgary where it made its debut at the Global Petroleum Show. With a capacity rating of 45 tons at 8 feet, a 96 foot boom, a two-stage offsettable jib, and an option for a second hoist, the huge boom truck or truck crane was designed for heavy duty work in the Canadian oil fields.

The subframe was designed to be able to pull oil field trailers and haul related equipment, and the machine is available with radio-controlled outriggers.
