28 January 2019
Manufacturer Manitowoc said it will show six new cranes and several new lifting technologies at the 2019 Bauma exhibition in Munich, Germany, early April.
All terrain cranes will include the 300 tonne capacity Grove GMK6300L-1, successor to the GMK6300L. Also on show will be a new GMK4090 all terrain and a new 60 tonne capacity GMK3060L all terrain.
Manitowoc’s tower crane brand Potain will show the Hup 40-30 self erecting tower crane, new high speed hoist winches and an operator hoist that fits inside the tower crane’s mast.
On the technology side, news will include a mobile diagnostic app and a boom configurator.
Barry Pennypacker, Manitowoc president and CEO, said, “Since we became a standalone crane company nearly three years ago, we have bolstered our new product pipeline, developing products that our customers want to purchase.”
