Marchetti launches electric crawler crane

Italy-based Marchetti has launched its new CW 25. 35 HY fully electric telescopic crawler crane at the Intermat 2024 trade show in Paris, France, late April 2024.

The new crane has a 17 tonne pick and carry lifting capacity and boasts a compact size, with a total weight of 25.5 tonnes. Power comes from an electric motor and lithium batteries and the crane carries 3.3 tonnes of counterweight.

The boom has one base section and one independent telescopic section with three synchronised telescopic sections. Boom extensions are available in lengths of 7 to 25.5 metres.

In terms of safety, the crane offers safety and pressure relief valves on all hydraulic circuits, as well as acoustic and visual warning devices and a hoist limit switch.
