Marine Travelift names VP business development, marketing

Erich Pfeifer has been promoted to vice president of business development and marketing for Marine Travelift, Inc.

Pfeifer has been with Marine Travelift, a manufacturer of mobile boat hoists, since 2004 where he served as sales engineer. He was appointed as manager of the Americas in 2006 and then named director of the Americas and marketing in 2009.

He will oversee all industrial and government sales as well as marine sales in the Americas. He will also be responsible for all marketing efforts.

"Erich's accomplishments and talents are both highly valued and key to future plans for the organization and we are thrilled to announce this promotion," said James Ashton, chairman of Marine Travelift, Inc.
