Andrei Geikalo, MyCrane founder and CEO

Crane rental sourcing platform MyCrane has hit the milestone of adding 10,000 cranes to its online database.

In early September registrations from suppliers took the total past 10,000 cranes available to rent around the world.

Commenting on the achievement Andrei Geikalo, MyCrane founder and CEO, said, “Our goal of assembling the world’s largest fleet of cranes was rather ambitious when we launched MyCrane back in 2021, however, that is exactly what we have created.”

Geikalo attributed the success to his teams around the world. He said the company’s clients now have access to “the biggest fleet of cranes in the world”.

Top of the top

Referencing the IC100 ranking of the world’s largest crane-owning companies published in International Cranes and Specialized Transport and on Crane and Transport Briefing, Geikalo claims around 30 per cent of the 100 companies in the list are registered on the platform.

In South Asia and the Middle East the company said all the companies in the 2024 IC100, published in June, are registered.

Registered crane owning companies, which now number more than 1,100, include Al Faris, Denzai, Hareket, Sanghvi Movers, Sarens, Sinopec Heavy Lifting & Transportation and Van Adrighem group.

On completion of a free registration, platform users can find available lifting equipment online, saving time and money. A diverse range of industry sectors are accommodated, including renewable energy, petrochemicals, construction and civil engineering.
