24 July 2009

NCCER will host an academy for safety management professionals September 19-25, 2009 at Clemson University, Clemson, South Carolina, USA.

The Safety Management Academy is designed both for corporate safety directors and experienced field safety co-ordinators and provides the philosophy, operating knowledge, and techniques necessary to design and implement a quality construction safety program for contractors.

Participants experience a one-week session of group projects, team building exercises, case studies, and lasting networking opportunities, NCCER said. Participants will also receive six continuing education units, a 30-hour OSHA card, and a certificate of completion from NCCER's National Registry.
