Raimondi Cranes appoints new sales director

Mauro Masetti is the new director of sales at tower crane manufacturer Raimondi Cranes based in Italy.

His remit is to strengthen the company’s commercial roadmap around the world with the guidance of Luigi Maggioni, Raimondi group CEO. From a base in Milan Masetti will reinforce the sales division. Expansion overseas will include North America, Canada, and Northen Europe.

Masetti has been in the lifting sector for more than 25 years, beginning in 2001 at Terex where he worked in customer care before becoming area sales manager. In 2011 he moved to MPS, with responsibility for global sales of new and used cranes.

In 2016 he joined Raimondi where he stayed until 2019. First he was commercial director and then chief commercial officer.

From there he went to Moritsch Cranes until 2024 when he returned to Raimondi.

Values and vision

Commenting on Masetti’s reappointment Luigi Maggioni said, “Mauro’s values and strategic vision align with the Group mission of expanding our global market share. His demonstrated industry commercial savvy, matched with his ability to adapt to dynamic conditions, will be instrumental in guiding Raimondi towards a more aggressive commercial strategy and taking decisive steps forward.”

On his return and his new role Masetti commented, “I am delighted to return to Raimondi, a company I always considered my second home. Remarkable steps forward have been achieved in recent years, including an impressive new production facility and the introduction to the market of new products. My goals align with the company’s vision and the leadership team, in which I firmly believe.”

Masetti said he will initially focus on optimising the product range, largely looking at the luffing jib models and driving international sales.
