Runnion names Prochot president

US-based Runnion Equipment has named Michael F. Prochot as its new president.

Mr. Prochot, most recently vice president and general manager of the Illinois-based equipment dealer, takes over the presidency from Patrick Runnion, who is now the chief executive officer of the company.

Mr. Prochot has held the role of vice president of Runnion Equipment for 13 years. During this time he has been responsible for managing the company’s operations, finances, marketing, IT, and programs for insurance, safety, and training.

Prior to joining Runnion Equipment, Mr. Prochot served as vice president and chief financial officer with Bulley & Andrews Inc. for eight years. He brings to his new role, more than 35 years of experience in the crane and construction industry.
