Tower Cranes: How OSHA 1926.1400 Affects Operations is the subject of the SC&RA's June webinar. Scheduled at noon EST on June 15, the presentation will highlight the key areas in the new tower crane regulations and explain how to comply with them. It also will cover new items forthcoming in the next edition of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers standard for tower cranes - ASME B30.3.

The presenter, Peter Juhren, corporate service manager for Morrow Equipment Company, is a 30-year veteran of the industry, a member of the ASME B30 main committee, chair of the ASME B30.3 subcommittee for Tower Cranes, and a commissioner with the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO). He was a member of the OSHA C-DAC committee in 2004 to rewrite CFR1926.550 (now 1926.1400) subpart N for cranes. In addition, he serves on the ISO-TC96 committee for global standardization of crane standards.

The cost is $29 for SC&RA members and $49 for nonmembers. To register please visit http://www.scranet.org/tower-cranes-how-osha-19261400-affects-operations.
