Senator tours Trail King

In celebration of Manufacturing Day, US Senator John Thune made a stop at the Trail King Mitchell, SD production facility.

US Senator John Thune visited Trail King in Mitchell, SD in celebration of Manufacturing Day. 

On location, Senator Thune visited with employees while learning about Trail King’s innovative manufacturing processes, the company said. Thune’s team celebrated the impact that manufacturing has on the state of South Dakota and the entire Mitchell region.

Plant Manager, Ed Thompson, gave a tour of the manufacturing plant, pointing out areas of interest to include the robotic welders, the welding training facility and the newly remodeled paint booths. Thune was able to view some of the largest trailers that Trail King produces on the production line as well as brand new trailers that employees were putting the final touches on for customer delivery.
