Spierings appoints new crane dealer in South Korea

Spierings Mobile Cranes has announced the appointment of D&T Machinery as its official dealer in South Korea.

The partnership is intended to increase Spierings’ presence in Asia, while further developing the South Korean market.

The first Spierings crane was imported into South Korea in 2013. The country now represents the company’s largest market for tower cranes outside Europe.

Under the new agreement, D&T Machinery will be responsible for sales, aftersales service and spare parts support for Spierings Mobile Cranes acoss South Korea.

A major focus of the cooperation will be the development of a strong local service infrastructure to ensure Korean customers benefit from fast and reliable technical support and spare parts availability.

D&T Machinery has extensive experience in the crane industry and history working with European crane manufacturers. The company previously served as a dealer for Demag cranes before the brand was acquired by Tadano.

Today, D&T Machinery continues to represent Terex Rough Terrain cranes, while also being active in trading high-quality second-hand Japanese and German cranes.
