Kranlyft UK has been appointed UK and Ireland distributor for Terex self erecting tower cranes.

It will offer the full Terex SE range, including the CSE series and the FC 6.24 a top slewing self erecting tower crane. In addition to sale, Kranlyft will offer service and help with spare parts.

Kranlyft UK was established in 1963 and is based in Bristol, South West England. It is a distributor for Maeda mini cranes, Klaas aluminium boom telescopic cranes and supplies parts and service for Kato mobile cranes. Kranlyft Group also has operations in Sweden and Germany.

Commenting on the deal Simon Marnock, Kranlyft operations director, said, “Terex self erecting cranes are manufactured in Italy and include nine models ranging from 21 to 40 metres. I recently visited the Terex self erecting cranes facility in Fontanafredda [Italy] along with Jurgen Vater, CEO Kranlyft Group to meet the team and explore how we can best represent the brand in the UK and Ireland. We followed this up with sales and product training for our new cranes at our UK office in Bristol, led by Bartosz Irzyniec, area sales leader and Luca Zanut, product specialist from Terex Self Erecting Cranes. We believe that this is a great opportunity for Kranlyft to offer our customers a wider selection of cranes to suit their needs and we very much look forward to working together.”

Bartosz Irzyniec, Terex Tower Cranes area sales leader, said, “We are very excited about this collaboration. Kranlyft UK impressed us with their professionalism and customer focus. They have a fantastic lifting product offering and we believe that our self erecting cranes are a great addition to this portfolio. We are really looking forward to working closely together and promoting self erecting cranes technology to the construction sector in the UK.”
