Terex Tower and Self-Erecting Cranes has appointed Francesco Aiello as its new general manager. With nearly 25 years of leadership experience at Terex, Aiello is set to lead the brand through a transformative chapter of growth, building on its legacy of excellence in the lifting industry, the company said.

“I’m honored to lead Terex Tower Cranes, a brand with a rich history and strong foundation,” said Aiello. “Terex has long been a symbol of quality and reliability in the crane industry. I’m excited to steer the business towards even greater achievements.”

Recognizing the challenges in today’s market, Aiello’s immediate priority is to align Terex’s internal organization with its long-term strategy and deliver innovative products that meet evolving customer needs.

“Now is the perfect time for change,” Aiello emphasized. “As global markets face challenges, it’s more crucial than ever to adapt and seize opportunities.”

Aiello has outlined key areas of focus, including timely delivery of new product projects and expansion into sectors beyond traditional construction. Long-term goals include strengthening Terex’s role in large-scale projects and enhancing its distribution of self-erecting cranes. Aiello also aims to make Terex Tower Cranes a leading employer in Northeast Italy’s industrial cluster.

Acknowledging economic pressures in the global market, Aiello is optimistic about Terex’s ability to navigate obstacles. “Our focus remains on increasing market share through customized solutions and exceptional customer support,” he said.

The brand’s flat-top city class cranes continue to be a strong offering. Aiello said Terex is committed to providing versatile, reliable cranes that meet the needs of urban construction and smaller-scale projects.
