Thackray deploys two big Liebherr cranes for bridge work

In West Grove, Pennsylvania, USA, Thackray Crane Rental played a pivotal role in a high-stakes infrastructure repair on Route 1 at Pusey Mill Road.

Thackray Crane deployed two Liebherr ATs to remove damaged bridge beams.

After a truck collision severely damaged the bridge beams, Thackray was tasked with executing a safe and efficient removal operation to facilitate critical highway repairs.

To handle the significant weight and complexity of the bridge girder removal, Thackray deployed two Liebherr LTM 1400-7.1 500 US ton (400 tonne) wheeled mobile telescopic cranes.

“These machines were designed for extreme precision and heavy-duty lifting,” the company said. “These cranes, operated by Thackray’s highly skilled team, ensured the structural components were extracted safely, efficiently, and without incident.”
