The prosperous future of wind power transport

The global wind industry installed a record 93 GW of new capacity in 2020, a 53 percent year-on-year increase that showed resilience in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic.

This increase in wind power capacity, reported by the Global Wind Energy Council in their 2021 Global Wind Report, is due to the extensive construction of wind farms. Accordingly, result specialist transport companies have been kept busy moving turbine components.
