Timo Stenz to lead Grove crane sales in central Europe

Manitowoc has appointed Timo Stenz as vice president sales, mobile cranes – Central Europe.

Stenz will oversee sales operations in Germany and the Netherlands, while also leading efforts to expand Manitowoc mobile crane business across Northern and Eastern Europe.

Pier Domenico Ravera, vice president of sales for mobile cranes in Europe and general manager of Manitowoc Cranes UK, said Stenz’s appointment strengthens the company’s commitment to customers in major European markets.  “With his proven track record and deep understanding of the construction equipment industry, Timo will play a key role in expanding the presence of Grove cranes in customer fleets across major European markets,” Ravera added.

Extensive experience

Stenz brings more than two decades of experience in the engineering and construction equipment industries. After graduating in Industrial and Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Darmstadt in Germany, he began his career with machinery manufacturer Bomag. He progressed into senior sales and strategic leadership roles, most recently as global sales director.
