Learn and network

The two-day event is organised by International Cranes and Specialized Transport, American Cranes & Transport magazines and publisher KHL Group, with exclusive event partner SC&RA.

WCTS starts on 18 November with a new VIP Experience option. Event ticket choices include Standard, VIP and VIP-plus hotel options. The new VIP option includes a whiskey tasting experience at the iconic Swan Bar pub in Dublin, a very short walk from the conference hotel. Behind the Label: A Super-Premium Irish Whiskey Tasting Experience is a special feature of the conference in the afternoon of 18 November.

After the VIP event, the regular networking drinks reception will be held at the host hotel, Radisson Blu Royal Hotel on Golden Lane in the heart of the Irish capital.

The conference also includes a networking breakfast, lunch and closing cocktail reception on 19 November, the day of the main conference.

VIP Event

The VIP event, Behind the Label: A Super-Premium Irish Whiskey Tasting Experience, is an immersive, behind-the-label journey through some of the finest, top-shelf whiskeys Ireland has to offer.

Hosted in one of Dublin’s most iconic Victorian-era pubs, the Swan Bar – still family-run by third-generation publican Ronan Lynch – this experience blends heritage, flavour and storytelling in unforgettable fashion. Nestled in the heart of the city, the pub itself is a living museum of Dublin’s social and cultural history, and Ronan will personally share his family’s story, revealing what it truly takes to run one of the capital’s most beloved watering holes across generations.

This will be the ninth iteration of WCTS and the first in Europe since the 2019 event in Amsterdam. It will be the first time the conference will have been held in Ireland.

Visit the WCTS website khl-wcts.com for more information about the schedule, tickets and registration.

The conference will cover global trends and issues in the crane, rigging and specialized transportation sector. On 19 November, after the networking breakfast, the conference will commence with a welcoming address by SC&RA CEO Joel Dandrea and Alex Dahm, International Cranes and Transport editor and WCTS host.
